Develop Great Expectations!

GratitudeMuch has been written lately about the power of postive thinking and the Law of Attraction.

But I still see so many people who don’t really understand how to harness this power and attract the things they really, really WANT in their lives.

Here’s the thing that keeps so many people from living their dreams.

They don’t EXPECT wonderful things!

Instead, they focus more on what they DON’T have rather than what they WANT to have.

It’s easy to do that.

Here’s an example.

People are constantly emailing me, telling me how much they’d love to work with a writing coach, but they just don’t have the money right now.

I can understand that…to a point.

But, if you look at their thoughts more closely, they are focusing on NOT having the money for a coach rather than how great it will feel to start working with a coach and focusing on finding a way to be able to afford that right now.

In other words, they are focusing on what they DON’T have at the moment instead of what they hope to have really, really soon.

Do you think like this?

Do you feel you can’t afford things that are really important to you?

Does that feeling of NOT having something turn into a negative thought that KEEPS you from getting the things in life that you want?

If you look at most people, these negative thoughts and feelings don’t move them ahead in life.

However, thinking and feeling this way DOES allow them to remain in their comfort zones.

And, most people would rather remain comfortable, even if this comfort is not really, really what they want, rather than face how truly wonderful things could be if they just started EXPECTING life to be wonderful.

But here’s the rub.

Expecting life to be wonderful is kind of tricky.

Your expectation has to be a real, honest to goodness BELIEF before it starts attracting all the wonderful things you want out of life.

You can’t just SAY you expect wonderful things in life, yet you don’t truly BELIEVE they will happen to you.

I honestly wake up happy every morning, fully BELIEVING that something wonderful is in store for me that day.

My GREAT expectation is a BELIEF.

And I am never disappointed.

My great expectations are met every single day!

So start EXPECTING great things to the degree that these expectations become BELIEFS.

Try it!
