copyright KCVLAAI’m the organizer for the Kansas City Writers Meetup and last night we had our monthly general meeting. Member Tim Anderson arranged the speaker for last evening who was attorney Rebecca Stroder. She talked to us about copyright laws. Stroder is president of Kansas City Volunteer Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts (KCVLAA).
KCVLAA is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides legal and accounting assistance to artists and arts organizations from all creative disciplines, including visual artists, writers, musicians, playwrights, actors, dancers, filmmakers, photographers, graphic artists, theater companies, orchestras, crafts groups, artists cooperatives and neighborhood arts councils.
